The CancerHelp patient education program contains important topics that your patients want to know. These include statements on treatment and diagnosis, side effects and coping with cancer, prevention and screening. These topics are in an easy-to-read patient format in English and Spanish. These statements for patients come from the National Cancer Institute (NCI) and are included in CancerHelp under a special license.

CancerHelp's Learning Center – Interactive Learning Modules with Full Spoken Audio
The CancerHelp Learning Center takes selected Booklets from the National Cancer Institute and coverts them into an interactive format that engages users in learning more about important cancer topics.
The Learning Center also allows users to learn at their own pace, absorb the content more with two learning modalities, seeing and hearing. Interactive features such as Questions for Understanding, Dictionary Lookup, and topic printouts also give users more ways to learn.
Chemotherapy and Radiation Therapy Fact Sheets in CancerHelp
The NCI produces an informative collection of special managing side effects sheets and these are all available to users in the CancerHelp NCI booklets section of the CancerHelp program. Patients can browse these wonderful sheets, read them on screen or print them out to take with them. The sheets include important side effects topics such as:

- Appetite Changes
- Fatigue
- Pain
- Nausea and Vomiting
- Sexuality and Fertility (Separate for Women and Men)
